TOURIST VISA
Tourist
visas are required from foreign citizens entering Brazil:
A – on tourism
B – to visit family
C – to participate in sports competitions as amateurs, provided that
admission to such
activities is free of charge and that no prize
money is awarded
D – to attend conferences or congresses of professional interest,
provided that this
participation is not remunerated
VISA EXEMPTION
Citizens of the countries listed below do not need a visa to visit
Brazil as tourists:

Tourist
visas are required from citizens of all countries not listed above.
Applicants must comply with the minimum documentation requirements
as stated below:
A – Passport valid for a minimum of six months.
B – One passport size photograph, front view,
C – Application form provided by the Representative Office of
Brazil, duly completed
and signed. Click here
and print the application form.
D – Round trip air ticket, with indication of the flight number and
of the date of the
trip.
PLEASE NOTE THAT
Tourist visas are valid for arrival in Brazil within 90 days from
the date of issuance. Duration of stay in Brazil is 90 days. An
extension for another 90 days can be applied for at any Department
of Federal Police precinct in Brazil, before the visa expires. The
maximum duration of stay in Brazil for a tourist visa holder is 180
days per year, regardless of the visa duration.
