HOW TO APPLY FOR A VISA
Visas are classified according to the nature of the trip and stay in Brazil.
Most cases of visa application fall under one of the types below.

Requirements
The requirements for
the different visas depend on the type of the visa. For details,

Fees

The value of the visa fee depends on the nature of the
visa and will be informed by the Representative Office.

Payment should be made to the First International Bank,
agency nr. 093, account nr. 105-001872, Consular Account.
YELLOW FEVER
Regardless of the kind of visa, a valid international yellow fever
vaccination certificate will be required on arrival in Brazil, if
the visitor has been to one of the countries listed below within
three months prior to entering Brazil.

In accordance with
the nationality of the passport holder, visas are only issued under
the authorization of the Brazilian home authorities
IMPORTANT REMARKS
The issuance of a visa is a discretionary act of a sovereign State.
A visa can be granted, denied, extended or changed on the condition
that it must serve national interests. A visa is not a right to
enter, but an expectation to be admitted. A foreign citizen can be
prevented to enter Brazil or to remain in the country if it is
considered to be the in the interest of the nation by a decision of
the Ministry of Justice executed by the Federal Police.
